We have two different sets of jobs in our classroom. One set changes every day. This includes our line leader, door holder, physical trainer (who chooses our gonoodle breaks), meeting manager, and such.
The other set of jobs lasts all quarter. Students apply for these jobs and list their top three choices. Then they are in charge of that job for the rest of the quarter. In these pictures you can see some students doing their jobs at the end of a school day. They set the schedule for the next day, stack our chairs so the custodians can clean our room, make sure our library is organized and neat, and more. Some students have jobs at other times of the day or jobs they don’t do daily.
