One of the most popular parts of our day, for many years now, is our independent reading time. We have a large classroom library (although it’s not all available right now to minimize spreading germs) and students can read whatever books they want to read. As the year goes on, we’ll have book talks (like commercials for books) to help students discover new authors, series, and books and to stretch themselves as readers.
