As we transition to schools being closed for a while and needing to find new ways to work together, learn, and stay occupied, there are a number of options for your children. In the upper right corner of this site there are some links to activities and sites that support the learning we’ve been doing in our classroom recently.
On the school district website there are a some great choices too. One is GSuite. We have our Google Classroom set up there. I am posting things there for students. There, for the moment, the options are mostly fun and focused on keeping students from being too worried and stressed during this time.
Another option on the school district site is 24-7 Learning. When students log in there they will find a collection of resources for all content areas and for each grade level. Our school librarian has also set up a site there with resources specific for our students. There’s lots of good stuff there.
As we continue forward there will be a school specific third grade site on 24-7 Learning as well (we’re working on it). Please don’t hesitate to reach out via email or leave comments here if there is any way I can help. I am missing being in a classroom together but am glad for all of the students who are visiting our Google Classroom and trying things out and communicating with each other.
