Day 4: Foot Parade

Another math challenge we tried on this week was Foot Parades. We had five different animals: an octopus (with 8 feet – I know, it’s a stretch), a ladybug (with 6 feet), a moose (with 4 feet), an ostrich (with 2 feet), and a snail (with 1 foot). We could use any combination of those animals to make a Foot Parade with 12 feet. The goal was to make three different parades that each had 12 feet. Some students made five or six parades!
