In math on our second day, we made foot parades. We had snails (1 foot), ostriches (2 feet), moose (four feet), ladybugs (6 feet), and octopuses (8 feet – sort of). We worked together to make Foot Parades of 12 feet and then students made their own parades of different numbers of feet. Again, they were so creative and thoughtful in how they put the numbers together!
