Throughout this year we will do a number of 3 Act Math Tasks. These tasks work a lot like word problems, but they use visuals and videos to get kids thinking and creating the problem. That makes them a little more challenging, because the students are not given exactly what they need to answer the question. They have to figure out what they need first, which is a lot more like using math in our daily lives.
