The bus ride to the Army Museum wasn’t a long one, which was a treat.
This GoNoodle, Lines and Angles, is one of our favorites.
After taking the math SOL test, we used Keva planks to do some storytelling. (Stories were recorded. Hopefully the videos will be shared here soon. I depends on how well the students can be heard.)
One piece of our morning meeting is our share time. Each morning, a few students share about anything they like. They can share one time each week, so we keep a list of everyone who has shared each week.
The bird feeder on our classroom window has had frequent guests! The students have named the birds after characters in the book we’re reading right no.

One day when we were stuck inside for recess we were lucky enough to go across the hall to the STEAM room. It was great fun!
With as many buses as we have, dismissal can take 20 minutes or more. Students find lots of different ways to spend that time as they wait to be dismissed.
