Field day started off with a visit from the fire department. They made sure we were nice and cooled down before we got going in the hot afternoon!

After our specials each day we have snack time. We often do Waffle while we eat.
We have tried out a number of different strategy games this year. We definitely have our favorites. All of them are intriguing puzzles and help us gain some great problem solving skills.
We have used Desmos a number of times throughout the year. The activities there really help us explore math ideas in deep, thoughtful ways.
In addition to the indoor recess activities we’ve had for a while, we’ve now added a magnetic dartboard. It was quite popular in its debut.
