With lots of indoor recess recently, we added a bubble machine for some joy.
Decorating the frames for our gifts and writing notes was such fun!
Estimation skills are helpful for making sure we’re on track when we do complication computation problems. Talking with friends about how to estimate and whether or not an estimate makes sense, helps us get better at it.
Lunch is a highlight of our day! Many students get the school lunch and a few bring theirs from home. Whatever we’re eating, it’s fun to have time to just talk together.
During our morning meeting time we have been practicing various strategies for coping with strong emotions. One of the possibilities is to do some stretching.
We used some puzzles in ST Math to strengthen our understanding of place value. If you have a chance, when your child has their laptop at home, check out ST Math with them. It’s really quite fun, if sometimes challenging!
